About Internship Kerala Program
A universal platform by the Kerala state government for facilitating internships to FYUGP students.
As a part of the Government of Kerala’s educational policy to implement the Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP), which mandates practical training as a core component for academic credit, the Kerala State Higher Education Council introduces the "Internship Kerala Program." This initiative is designed to effectively manage and conduct the compulsory internship required for FYUGP students. To ensure the program's success through robust infrastructure and execution, KELTRON, a Government of Kerala undertaking, has been strategically selected to provide the facility and technical support to implement this comprehensive platform.

Internship Kerala is a pioneering initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry experience. This program facilitates collaborations between government, government-aided, and self-financing colleges under universities across Kerala and a wide range of industries and institutions, such as government, non-governmental organizations, companies, departments, industries, factories, and other institutions related to the students' field of study. By offering a structured platform, Internship Kerala ensures that students gain hands-on experience, practical knowledge, and valuable industry exposure, thereby significantly enhancing their employability and career prospects.
The platform is designed for seamless use by all stakeholders. Colleges can register effortlessly on the platform, while industries can easily list internship programs, making it simpler for students to find suitable industry for internship. Through structured industrial training, and continuous quality monitoring, Internship Kerala ensures a well-rounded and impactful internship experience that benefits students, educational institutions, and industry partners alike.
