Students Registering for Internship Programs are Required to Read, Understand, Acknowledge, and Comply with the Following Terms and Conditions
Internship Kerala shall function as an open digital platform that facilitates the listing of internship opportunities by participating organizations, ensuring that such opportunities are made available to students in accordance with the objectives of equitable access, skill development, and employability enhancement. At the time of registration, students shall review and clearly understand all material details of an internship, including its relevance, duration, fees, syllabus, mode of training, certification format, and recognitions. Selection of any internship shall be undertaken only after consultation with, and prior approval from, the concerned Head of the Department (HOD).

About the internship commencement
- Students who have successfully completed registration & fee payment will be assigned to batches depending Internship slot
availability in industries.
- If any individual attempts to collect money or any other form of benefit from students by offering other course, jobs, other paid external programs, or making promises in connection with the Internship Kerala Portal, such incidents must be reported in writing to the concerned authorities at the earliest.
- Students and parents must note that the Internship Kerala Portal is an open platform which helps the industries to publish their internship opportunities currently available. The Internship Kerala Portal does not directly verify or investigate the authenticity of the institutions or companies that report internship opportunities on the portal.
- The portal also does not guarantee the accuracy, legitimacy, or reliability of the internship opportunities reported by such companies or institutions.
- Therefore, students are strongly advised to independently verify the credibility and authenticity of the companies/institutions and the services offered by them before engaging in any internship activity.
- If required, students should obtain relevant documents, confirmations, or agreements in writing from the concerned company or institution.
- The responsibility for verifying the authenticity and reliability of such companies, institutions, and internship opportunities lies entirely with the student.
- Students Guidelines during Internship
- All students must strictly follow the rules and regulations of the organization, including guidelines related to mobile phone usage, workplace behavior, dress code, parking, discipline, and punctuality. Any violation of these rules will be subject to the organization's decision, which shall be final.
- In case a student is removed from the training due to misconduct, violation of rules, or other disciplinary reasons, no refund of any fees paid shall be provided.
- Students must adhere to the training schedule and leave the premises promptly after training hours.
- During the training period, the students are not entitled to participate in organization-related activities such as elections, tours, festivals, sports events, or any other programs.
- Moving around the campus or organization premises without any official purpose during non-training hours is strictly prohibited.
- Certification
- Students who successfully complete the internship and meet all prescribed requirements shall be issued an internship completion certificate through the Internship Kerala platform
- The Certificate of Internship Completion shall constitute official recognition of the student's successful completion of the internship and may be utilized for academic purposes.
- The name provided by the student at the time of registration will be printed on the internship certificate. If any correction is required in the certificate after issuance, the student must pay an additional fee for the correction. The correction fee will be determined by the Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC)/KELTRON
- Complaint Submission Process
- If any complaint or issue arises in connection with the internship or the organization/industry where the internship is being conducted, the student shall submit the complaint in writing to the faculty member responsible for supervising the internship or to the concerned authority of the host organization. The student must ensure that an acknowledgement of receipt is obtained at the time of submission.
- If no appropriate action is taken within three working days from the date of submission, the student may escalate the matter by forwarding the complaint to the official email address of the State Course Coordinator (info.internshipkerala@gmail.com) for further review and necessary action.
- All complaints must be submitted on or before the final day of the respective internship batch.
- Complaints submitted after the completion of the internship period will not be considered valid.
- Participation & Refund Policy
- Commencement of an internship batch is subject to the availability of the minimum required number of students. If the required minimum is not met, Internship Kerala reserves the right to reallocate the registered students to other available batches or to alternate industries.
- If such reallocation is not feasible, the concerned batch shall be cancelled, and the fees paid by the students will be refunded.
- Internship Kerala and the respective industry shall not be liable for any inconvenience, loss, or damages arising from the cancellation of a batch, and no claims or compensation shall be entertained on this account.
- Once a student has completed registration and payment for an Internship Kerala Internship Program, failure to participate in the program or discontinuation of participation at any stage, for any reason whatsoever including personal reasons, shall render the entire fee paid non-refundable. No requests, claims, or applications for refund of the program fee shall be entertained.
All details related to the internship program must be clearly understood by contacting the helpline number (91 62 350 100 01) or, if required, by communicating through the official email ID (info.internshipkerala@gmail.com). Any concerns or claims raised by students after the commencement of the internship program will not be considered.
